The large steel fireplace is the centerpiece of the living space and separates the room from the covered outdoor patio. To control quality we mill the wood in our modern manufacturing facility. From doors to moldings, every part is manufactured on-site. Marius was always available to answer our questions. In fact, he had to redo the work unfinished by another contractor and he did it completely on time with great quality. For the interiors, Tonic Design used recycled materials whenever possible, including reclaimed-wood floors and old factory lights. The rear of the two-story, 3,800-square-foot house is glazed to take advantage of the forest views. Kiss House, a retreat set above Rainy Lake in Canada, was designed by architecture firm Lazor/Office.
